Could've gone so much farther than floor 14 but I got distracted and didnt use my regen wand to prep for snakes. devastated, but it was sooooo clicky so i'm kind of glad it's over. 10/10 game
Posting this now incase the run doesnt save properly for when I continue tomorrow. Insane run, Cleaver build as the super far runs are always. Finally learned HOW strong Duct Tape is now that it has been changed/fixed 6/7 Energy (Token of energy takes up too much space for now) 3 Attacks 1st: ~6,800 Dmg 2nd 15,000+ (Havent had chance to test this fully since i got conductor, floor 33 boss died before it finished 3rd ~~~ 24,000 (This is a total estimate) If I did get hit, I would always heal to full thanks to the Vamp Crystal. 56 Attacks Per press. (Or 64 if Queen Cleaver triggers twice on both top side diagonals)
Im going to hopefully finish this tomorrow and show you all how far it goes! Glass Bottle is next candidate to go, Then it will be stopwatch. Im hoping to get another berserker ring soon so i can take away the crimson energy. Ill hopefully update you guys tomorrow!
Not going to Lie, ONE OF THE BEST DANG ROGUELIKES I have ever played. Maybe because it's new, or maybe because it's Different, BUT I have already put DAYS into this game. The only Real thing I have Came Across (this is on the Website not Downloaded) Is When you're playing Mage build.
IT does Lag after a while. Besides that, SOLID 7.5/10 From Me.
found a bug where shield spirit and stopwatch don't interact properly. when i used my shield it would trigger both of my weapons. the earthstone blade got everything as it should while the club wouldn't get the stopwatch +1 damage.
Edit: upon further inspection it appears the weak effect isn't being applied either.
In earlier versions of the game I could play with a couple freezes but I could fix those but ever since the last few updates the game doesn’t even load
Yeah, I think i was doing 70-ish first turn but every turn the pickaxe was upgrading it's damage. Not even mention the rage I got every time I killed someone.
after this Floor 18 Grandmaster ended my run because of Burning damage. In my defense he was down to 3k, and the wand was doing around 320 a hit at the end.
made an arrow build to start, and ended with a legendary sword and spear, found out you can fire arrows with shields and shield spirit lol. funny way to become an archer, just fire them with your shield mate.
i always wondered if that worked...never managed to get to there though. i would assume that it acts like the crossbow however in that poison arrows work best since they can't ever lose damage...
The shield keeps the damage from falling because it boosts the damage every time you use the shield, which decreases by one per use. needed more energy to survive the last fight against king, but couldn't do so because I could block him without damaging him making him hit harder lol.
Encountered same bug 3 times. Arrow gets yeeted outside screen when replaced by another arrow (Top of screen) Can't regrab. *Not sure if it has to do with arrows, but all three times arrows were involved.
At the top there's always the "reorganize" message, the items the go behind it can still be grabbed, but they can't be seen, you probably had this problem more with arrows because they are very flat. if my thesis is correct, just try to click at random behind the massage at the top of the screen and you should grab the arrow
Messing around with curses was quite fun, first time testing haste in a shield, i'd love to have negative armor but it'd take way too long with just 1 haste per energy; Orksork Axe came in clutch with the P2W and saved me multiple times.
i mean...if you swap out the 2 shields, booth boots, and all 3 necklaces with archangel armor, 2 guarding bands, and a tooth necklace you'd have pretty much the same results with less space used in less turns and without having to kill someone to jump your haste up...and kills would then boost your damage...just saying...
I beat the game without weapons!!! Im not here to boast, im' just happy it's possible, i'll list the unexpected hardships and strategies here.
The two really hard parts are early game and endgame, at the start, avoid all slimes, they can heal faster than you can damage them and you will just lose due to damage ramping. The endgame is hard because of poison. Since you have no weapon you will probably have a lot of block, but your stalling build will just melt in front of poison of bats and snakes, avoid them at all cost.
As for strategies, if you click retry after dying, you will see michael (i think that's his name), always choose the 2 uncommon items to have a chance to get the glove of knives (probably the best item for this) They are the only thing that will make ur damage higher and they get buffed by rage. The only way to beat snakes along with regen builds(like mine). Consumable builds will probably also work, and spikes is your guaranteed damage. This challenge is fun! it forces strategies, the only annoying part is resetting until you get something useful.
What do you mean michael? is that a thing for "pacifist" mode when you die, or is that just, idk, a random chance when you die? also, do wands count as weapons if they do damage, or are they still just a wand?
Mathew gives you items in a fresh run if you press m on the loading screen it should take you to him (not exclusive to pacifist). I think wands still count as normal damage.
the damaging wands do count as weapons yes. if you want to make sure, then the tooltip when you hover over it will tell you right where it says wand. nice to check that spot on occasion because damage wands are weapons, but teddy bear sword is not...something i missed for like forever...
(thank you onyx yes it is mathew) on wand that do damage, there will be both the wand and weapon attribute. Even things like empty cup get the weapon attribute, so anything that doesnt have it is fair game (except for teddy bear sword you thought you would go unpunished?)
Oh, that's neat! thank you- guys? idk anymore... - ! your feedback will help alot! Anyway, is there a legendary consumable? I know armor, weapons, and accesories have legendaries and I would like to know if there's a legendary consumable. If there is, what is it?
You have a few options, if you have a tanky build, keep an item that can destroy curses, otherwise, just have a lot of damage. Those enemies are just a check that you have enough damage(that's why they sleep turn 1), if you can't beat them then play around with synergies to get an op weapon (like pickaxe, curse blade, bows ect)
Very neat. I like how many different strategies are possible with all the items, but I feel there's not enough incentive to use the more complex ones. My first run I just used regular weapons and stacked a ton of bonuses on my Brutal Spear, and won on my first try. I've since tried archery and magic builds, but I always end up dying to one of the early bosses. (Incidentally, the badger boss' rising power is really brutal for a first boss. If you can't wipe him out fast, you're doomed.)
I think the main issue with archery is that it requires you to get a lot of the exact right items in a short timespan; arrows and bows are useless without each other, and arrows are rarely superior to melee weapons unless you have multiple. It takes a really long time before an archery build becomes viable, during which you have to carry a ton of dead weight. The archery kit event helps, but of course that's random. Maybe there could be some weighting to random drops to increase the chance of getting arrows if you already have a bow and vice versa?
I feel the game also has the same issue as a lot of RPGs, which is that battles are won before they begin -- strategy matters far more than tactics. Because enemy attack patterns are so simple, you can almost always win by doing the same thing each turn. I think that more mid-battle backpack manipulation would help with this; the curse enemies are a good start, but maybe they could reorganize our items as well? I also feel like reorganizing shouldn't take an entire turn of combat, as it's basically never worth three weapon attacks.

Uhhhhh stupid question but are stores still a thing? Went to floor 10 without ever having a shop
yes they are, that's insane luck... or unluck? idk
INSANE RUN. Currently on Floor 34
Posting this now incase the run doesnt save properly for when I continue tomorrow.
Insane run, Cleaver build as the super far runs are always.
Finally learned HOW strong Duct Tape is now that it has been changed/fixed
6/7 Energy (Token of energy takes up too much space for now)
3 Attacks
1st: ~6,800 Dmg
2nd 15,000+ (Havent had chance to test this fully since i got conductor, floor 33 boss died before it finished
3rd ~~~ 24,000 (This is a total estimate)

I was super lucky to get 2 coals in the game & ethereal shivs, creating an infinite coal loop powering my shiv combo!

Farthest run yet. Double coal, 42 attacks, 21 heal per turn. 1505 main target, 700+ cleave.
I did it. I successfully used cursed sword
well that needs to be an achievement
"face your deepest fears" because once u get it to work it's really busted

Hercules Pavise has a bug with shield spirit.
Managed to beat the game with this splash dmg build.
I beat the grandmaster because I got 15 energy first turn from consumables.
Bug report here
I had been using the arrow wand 4x at the start of every combat and it had worked fine the arrows had disappeared.
However after taking the mage robes these two persisted for this one battle. they disappeared after next combat like normal.
Not sure why this is happening. (this is floor 10 btw)
Man mouse wood builds are so easy for beating the main levels, consistently beating every enemy without much need to block
Spicy water??
Wait until you find out about the relic called Spices...
spice*
hate to be that one guy but there is not an s at the end
Don't lie, you loved doing it.
What do spices do? I actually never encountered that relic before.
+3 rage when consumable is used
The game don’t load
are you on mobile?
yeah, life is pain
In earlier versions of the game I could play with a couple freezes but I could fix those but ever since the last few updates the game doesn’t even load
Huh. When I play it on a mobile device, it just doesn't let me, due to Unity.
It has been a while since I got a victory on this update, amazing damage ouput but I was lacking on defense.
That, my friend, is a work of power, honor, and art.
Pickaxe with even less armor and lost to bat's poison. Was just wondering, do you remember your damage?
Yeah, I think i was doing 70-ish first turn but every turn the pickaxe was upgrading it's damage. Not even mention the rage I got every time I killed someone.
after this Floor 18 Grandmaster ended my run because of Burning damage. In my defense he was down to 3k, and the wand was doing around 320 a hit at the end.
60 max health, 20 passive block a turn, 13 mana generation a turn (after turn 1), 44 Mana turn 1 (32 starting +5 uses of the Tome for 2 each)
bruhther
so lucky, your destiny has been determined
am i the only one whose game stutters a lot when you get a lot of manna stones
nope. constant problem.
I can't place the item that comes in the middle of a fight
please solve this problem
it says that you have to press the reorganize button on the top left, it costs 3 energy
thanks
made an arrow build to start, and ended with a legendary sword and spear, found out you can fire arrows with shields and shield spirit lol. funny way to become an archer, just fire them with your shield mate.
why do you have so many pined tabs!
i always wondered if that worked...never managed to get to there though. i would assume that it acts like the crossbow however in that poison arrows work best since they can't ever lose damage...

i see that nhentai page lol
Ow O
lmao
I wonder which incremental indie pixel game I'll play today!
its called "archangel armor stalling build" actually
So far. I have been having fun. Trying builds. But it looks like mana is a requirement to break in to endless territory.
The only one build that did not require mana that I had success is a curse wet stone build.
Using axe that cost money instead of energy or mana.
But I ran out of money and died (:
If you use that ax that uses money, I suggest you go to Matthew and reload the page 'till you get a piggy bank.
Ps: do the two uncommon item choice as the piggy bank is uncommon. Hope this helps! :)
What does feeding the merchant frog a fly do?
That particular merchant gives a steep discount on all items.
neat.
I really liked this game, especially the game's arts that I found very beautiful and the music reminded me of a more chrono trigger style
First run, had a blast and cleared the current content.
The game is simple and I like it s in old and with strategy and risks I like the game
gud game
Anyone know how to get the game working on an IOS browser? It use to work but now it gives a huge error message.
I think the game is still too early in development to have a mobile port...
Floor 18 King stopped the best endless run :(
Encountered same bug 3 times. Arrow gets yeeted outside screen when replaced by another arrow (Top of screen) Can't regrab. *Not sure if it has to do with arrows, but all three times arrows were involved.

The issue with the vampiric axe + peridot/poison whetstone still has not been fixed. :/
i believe itll be like this for likely a while, as it *does* do as intended, it adds +1 poison
Poison arrows are quite OP but quite proud of the run in general
Messing around with curses was quite fun, first time testing haste in a shield, i'd love to have negative armor but it'd take way too long with just 1 haste per energy; Orksork Axe came in clutch with the P2W and saved me multiple times.
The punishment for save scum. I think this happens after 10 save loads?
I, wafflesgone, have created the most overpowered haste build as far as the eye can see
i mean...if you swap out the 2 shields, booth boots, and all 3 necklaces with archangel armor, 2 guarding bands, and a tooth necklace you'd have pretty much the same results with less space used in less turns and without having to kill someone to jump your haste up...and kills would then boost your damage...just saying...
no...i think it does! where's my starting luck like that?
thats the kind of luck i got when i was doing a no weapon run

all that said, have you tried floor 20?
Floor 100 run is going strong. 15 energy turn 1 but never have to use more than 5 to clear any combats.
you are my hero...
*our
What are those curses?!
