uh i think its a bug, when i try and drag the tasty fly item to the frog sHOPkeep to sell it it just Disapears and i can't sell it and nothing happens.
If you go to a door, click "open door" without having a key in your inventory and then press nevermind leave - the character walks forward into the locked room (which in my case was a chest room), it will not give you the chest, instead it will lock you inside that one square of a room and say "pathway blocked" when you try and klick outside it.... And since you don't have a key, you're now stuck forever
:) unless you want to go back to a save - which in my case, means that I had to start over from the beginning, because apparently it hadn't saved since then...
I love this build because it's powerful and has unlimited potential. I've now comes to floor 257 using very familiar build. But it's a little bit annoying that the value of "block" is limited to 999. So this build becomes weak when it goes to very late stage levels.
this is the very reason why I only add +1 Haste on my shield, and add the remaining Shield Forge to Thorn, this build easily reach 999 Block in the first (3 energy) turn, I was hoping DEV would also raise the BLOCK counter since the BURN effect debuff from those Lizard can go up to 1000+ burn debuff, and you be there sitting like a duck watching your HP burn in a single turn
I find a way to make as many "Golden Whetstone" as possible. It's quite essential to multiple the damage. The idea is that "Star Potion" can be made from "Cauldron" and can produce "Golden Whetstone". So by leaving one monster unhurt and repeatedly use "Old Log" and "Cauldron" to make potions, it can make about 3-5 "Golden Whetstone"s just in a single battle, before the monster's damage exceeds 1000. Hope this would be helpful!
assuming you also gain MAX HP from a particular item (+3) too? thanks for the headup, those build might be OP late game by farming it in the early floor, I might consider building that setup when I had the chances... thank you.
@Thejaspel Found a bug. I got a second Electric Arrow using a relic potion, and when I displaced the first one it won't return to its original position anymore.
made it all the way to floor nine (a new pb for me as i am new) my build is rage ring with ten mana a paladin sword with plus 4 from pearl plus five from galss bpottle and plus 2 from emerald as well as five 23 dmg hatchets a 25 damage hatchet and a 16 damage shiv (all after rage ring) and a lightning bolt i have 8 energy on first turn 4 health at eh end of first turn and tea and i dont think its possible for me to win
the biggest problem im having adn my biggest weakness overall is that any enemy with thorn absolutly destroys me since i ususaly run high damage no block ive only succsessfully beaten teh blade master once andn it was pure luck
I got stuck when i fought an armadillo, we both added up our blocks into the infinite each round, but could not deal enough damage to end the battle. No way to escape the battle.
...can you make it so that when viewing the card of the item it lets you exit by clicking outside the card and/or just stop you from clicking any other button, I just clicked finished choosing on reflex and got rid of the items without picking anything up... :sadge:
Just thought of a good strategy. I saw this ring called Pacifists ring in the shop. It gives you 1 energy but gets destroyed when you use a weapon. So I wonder, could you use it in combination with Brass Knuckles or Spiked Shield to get free a energy.
fun game but in the magma core the first enemy's that i encounter spam curses that i dont have the space for and in 5 rounds give you fire 28 and potion 23 so please nerf it a little
Perhapps it could be a Lemon citrine and not just a citrine or perhapps it could actually be crystalized lemon! (yes you can crystalize lemons).
In fact - many of us gemstone people, tend to call it 'Lemon quartz' and - depending on if it's treated (artifically produced) or not - 'yellow/lemon/heated amethyst'. (fun fact: citrine really is just a heated and pressurized amethyst. - When the iron oxidizes in an amethyst - it turns into a citrine)
And Citrine gets its name from the Citron fruit - which literally IS a european 'Lemon'.
TL/DR: The translator is Not Wrong by calling it a Lemon because Its name is, by all means, literally - Lemon. And Lemon quarts, or Lemon citrine, is what we call a pure, light-yellow citrine gemstone and they are extremely rare.
Also I know you're probably trying to sound endearing by using "my dear", but your entire comment comes off as quite condescending towards people who don't have english as their first language, polish people specifically. Like, you can come with suggestions on how to improve the translations and provide corrections, but don't just go off and make rants about their english - that is just rude and unhelpful.
An upgrade on previous cleaver build. Now deals like 30k dmg on first energy. Still unlucky to get enough jack cleavers tho. BTW just a tip for those who also play cleavers: you can stack chef's hats on one row. It says it will disable other helmets on the right but actually the +50% dmg effect won't be affected. ...
Gorgeous Build ! It's sooooo powerful! The only thing I would complain is that the animation gets really laggy when the cleavers go into loops, lol. Btw, I did some S/L on boss floor for the right set of relics.
hi i found a movment bug with gates you can block your self in the chest room withount key and then your run preaty ends if you dont have key second bug when you use gate withount key agin you can teleport on the other side of the gate pls fix mayby just return player from the spot where he clicket the gate??
Nerf Ferret King. Reasons he is op: Damage pretty much forces you to block, thus adding rage to him. He summons 52 hp enemies, which have about 15 damage, which is literally impossible to kill in one turn without good items. So you have to block even more with meals to prevent dying. But then the ferret does even more damage. Before you say "just git gud", I know he's possible to kill. But he's easily the most difficult tier 1 boss. Queen bee is just a worse version in almost every way. Perhaps make the spawns small ratwolfs or ratwolfs instead of rabbits.
Found a bug: On PC you can right click usable items and select "use item max times", if you do that with the Letter you're in a endless loop of using the Letter; the only way to get rid of it, is by exiting to the main menu. This also completely deleted my run (haven't had the chance to test it a second time yet).
Ohh didn't know about that, thanks! But in that case I'd personally prefer a message displaying that info, since it actually makes the gameplay really smooth. But either way, I have 100% trust that you'll definetly make this already amazing game a masterpiece :)
Both have most of the same enemies, save for the bramble. The Crow (That's not the actual name...) is a harder enemy and, if that route is chosen, it would be your first encounter with an enemy that can dodge. In the full game, judging by it's sprite description, The Crow will be able to 'steal' items in your inventory. There are 2 unique bosses on this floor(two for each floor, I belive.) but I've yet to reach it. I'll reply again once I've gotten the names of the 'new' enemies and bosses.
P.S. There're is one unique item in the bramble, there's probably more but i havent found them yet. It's the ramming sheild. It deals damage for each AP/SP (armor/sheild point) you have, at the cost of you losing half of your AP/SP total. Now you have a reason to use hercule pivase!!
I would like to add that there is a very slim chance you encounter a special event in the bramble that will allow you to gain an extra 5 HP or heal your health. The Bramble (or at least for me) has been fairly easy to take on mostly due to crabs. they don't do a whole lot of damage and all you have to do is block for those first few rounds and then it's quick from there. BE WARNED sometimes The Bramble will throw 3 hermit crabs and one of those mice at you and that can be hard to take out if you don't wield a proper weapon by then.
I have probably put in 300+ hours into this game; it is addictive and fun! The RNG is so great that I keep playing to see what I can do next, there is a lot to experiment with. So many facets... I play it so much that my arm legit hurts and I have to take a break from it until my arm recovers. I can't wait until the full version comes out on Steam!
*I have made it to level 16 many times and sometimes I die on level 2. It is such a great game!!!!!! Thank you for creating this.
After playing or a while (this is an amazing game with great replayablility!) I noticed even more errors in Polish translation. There are some dialogues (namely-Badger smith and potion bat) that look terrible, the grammar is all over the place, sometimes it looks like someone put these lines into google translator and didn't read it afterwards
Persistent bug where the "any items left outside..." textbox stays up. Anyway, I'm going to win with this build where I got unlucky and didn't get the bomb relic, wish me luck because I won't give up until it works.
Update: I figured out that the bug occurs when your first action is reorganizing. I'm getting good RNG on the reorganizing items rn so thanks for wishing me good luck.
Final update to this: I won, and got through the endless first boss, and then immediantly died because of the tooth necklace, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

uh i think its a bug, when i try and drag the tasty fly item to the frog sHOPkeep to sell it it just Disapears and i can't sell it and nothing happens.
I think the fly is for the frog main character
thats supposed to happen the merchant gets it when you click it and everything in the shop gets a severe discount
Thanks both, Now i just feel stupid, but a little smarter now Hahaha
It hurts to pass a duct tape, but I only need 3 more king cleavers for the perfect setup, no more duct tape.
THAT'S A LOTTA CLEAVERS.
Oop- I just found a bug!

That's savage!! Sorry to hear that, dude!
This is my first run to go into endless mode :)
Hey! I was wondeeing, will the game have a android version?
Try to return to menu and continue the game from the last save game.
I got the same bug.
Lucky? Or Tricksy?
on my current run i have gotten 6 forges. 4 weapon and 2 shield. also the 6th one was on floor 4. run ended with 4 weapon and 4 shield forges
didn't notice v17 was up the last time I played was like a month ago, oh well,... I guess going start-a-new...
goodbye floor 121....

I lost a round 300+ run. But I've rebuilt it again. Currently on round 60, dealing 50k+ dmg on the first energy. Looking forward to how far it goes.
@Thejaspel
Found a bug.

I think in situations like these you have to click the finish reorganizing button before you can put it back.
made it all the way to floor nine (a new pb for me as i am new) my build is rage ring with ten mana a paladin sword with plus 4 from pearl plus five from galss bpottle and plus 2 from emerald as well as five 23 dmg hatchets a 25 damage hatchet and a 16 damage shiv (all after rage ring) and a lightning bolt i have 8 energy on first turn 4 health at eh end of first turn and tea and i dont think its possible for me to win

try getting the Candle Relic (Cleansing Flame) this should able to carry you against Blade Master easily
This game is way too good. I keep getting to the infitinite mode, but haven't been able to pass the Magma zone level 2 yet there.
I got stuck when i fought an armadillo, we both added up our blocks into the infinite each round, but could not deal enough damage to end the battle. No way to escape the battle.

I'm just waiting for that one mole guy with the card matching game to say "Trust in the heart of the cards!" Yu-Gi-Oh style (:
No one survives under the electric
I somehow glitched through a locked door. Now I'm stuck...
The same thing happened to me lol. I was in endless mode too with the perfect items
The perfect game doesn't exis--

Did anyone acknowledge the fact that this NPC can literally GIVE YOU THE NECRONOMICON!?
ye.
fun game but in the magma core the first enemy's that i encounter spam curses that i dont have the space for and in 5 rounds give you fire 28 and potion 23 so please nerf it a little
beginning should be a little harder tho
Warning: The berserker's club forgets to tell you, -2 damage to enemy +1 to self this turn, instead says -2 damage this turn.
Edit: you can see it but you must scroll down to see it/ right click view card
Why are some rares selling for 10 and others 5?
i would like if the game had an Google Playstore realease
"citrine" is not a "lemon", my dear polish translator. It's a gem, it's called "cytryn"...
#polishtranslationrantpart3
We'll work on the translation! If you want to be a fan translator, you should join our discord! I'd love your help on the Polish translation!

I died but killed all the enemies with spikes
what
You can get softlocked in the buckler-o minigame if the buckler lands in the wrong spot on the far right.
interesting build, still very new to the game but this omega damage build did the trick nicely. I died to poison on floor 26.
dude...you dont need that many mana in your life
actually i barely use mana at all

Just a suggestion. Is it possible to add a function to show your total dmg per energy? It is pretty fun and give players positive feedback.
TRUE

i got a wapon that deals 1 dmg but EVERY TURN IT +16!!!
soooooo after a couple turns you can one shot pretty much anything
i have a build where i do 500+ dmg in 1 turn
I don't think I have enough space for so many items 🤔
