well if you want to have a chance at defeating that boss with butcher knives you should get the candle thingy that reduces their spike by 1 so that each attack you deal he spikes only once, also stopwatch isn't really that useful, in my days of playing this I realized that the best item is the belt of knives when using butcher knives because it gives 3 attacks to multiple weapons, for me stop watch is just an indicator of what butcher knife procs the most so that when i get my blacksmith to give rage to one of my butcher knives i do it to the one who procs the most
enemy cleanse(cleansing flame candle relic/consumable), spike haste build, shield+doru build, bow and arrows, or just use shield until his spike drops.
Made a run out of destroying consumables next to the weapons and armor to make block and damage, went old log first and transitioned to the keg after a bit
53! Those are rookie numbers! Being able to one-shot most enemies is simply not ok, you have to be able to destroy enemies physically and mentally aswell. Make sure they know your 100+ damage god-like weapon could kill them twice over if you wanted to.
Haste adds your "haste" number to the amount shielded every time you shield. So if you have 10 haste, and a shield that shields for 7, every time you shield you would gain 7 + 10 (17) block. You can see how this becomes crazy, as haste can carry over between turns, and you can have many man small shields being procced by Golden Pavis.

Tried a contraption run with the letter moving upward, buffing the hatchet, shiv(s), lucky dagger, club and machete up. Then the wheel to buff stuff even more. I don't know why I picked up the Conductor. I had the un-nerfed Doru.
An archery run that happened the most recent. Was the replacement of the Mouse Bow for a Hawkeye Bow + Arrow worth it? 🤔Too unlucky, didn't get more poison arrows. I also had tons of meals and water flasks. No block, I died.
The best mana run I had. Too laggy and I died of poison.
Another archery run I tried with a letter buffing stuff up, the best one too. Not too powerful, now that I think. I wonder how stuff worked aside from the philosopher stone turning consumable into energy. All these runs were done a while ago, I don't remember exactly what happened.

I found a bug where if you place an item into your inventory (after a fight) and click at around 10-15 cps, it will go back into the item selection, but still be usable, ive gotten a pretty far run with this bug, but it was quite a while ago so i dont really have any proof. Pretty game-breaking!
I don't really understand what you mean, do you mean that you were lucky getting so many good items, or do you mean that pacifist ring is really good for your layout, because it isn't.

He's putting hours and hours of his time into the game and he'd probably want to know this bug without having to waste time on this. I'm not trying to come off as mean I'm just trying to say that it's inconvineint for him aswell as those who want a cleaner game without any game-breaking exploits or glitches.
I got about 15 seconds into a youtube video about this game before my dreams were crushed by the add to wishlist button on steam. I went to the tallest tower of the castle ready to throw myself off when I found it uploaded here to play. Fantastic game, I cannot wait to buy.
yeah. It's hard. Take The binding Of Isacc's difficulty, take the randomness of the "take me to a random website" site, and add in the combat of a (amazingly good, polished and true-to-the-ads) mobile game, and then multiply it by about 2.63.
oh, and add in a bit of rage from Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy. There you go.
My best run so far, The Triple Ninja:Alas, though The Triple Ninja was able to erode Badger Boss and a dozen or so of his many minions after a hilarious, extremely long fight, just one damn Snake is too much, because Poison can not be dodged. There really is a serious lack of ways to handle Poison damage...
the more luck you get the higher chance you have to get rarer items. so if you have enough luck legendaries and other rarer items/encounters could become quite common!
With luck, it decreases the chance of finding common items while increasing the chance of rare-er items. It takes a bit to get to a point where you can both be extremely lucky and still ahve enough space in your bag for other items.
The lucky dagger + angler fish + 2-4 luck rings seems to give you a relative chance of 75% rare and up. :)
Ok thank you that makes sense I have never seen the floor 1000 boss and saw the infinite gold whestone+ assasin's dagger combo and have wanted to try that so I could see the boss but every time I've tried I can't get just 1 of the items. Also the game thinks I only want Doru so if I ever have 2 luck rings i'll see around 5 Doru.
I finally got this awesome build with double electric arrows and a ton of manastones, I have the bow that gives dodge and the skull ring as well but I haven't been able to pass floor 13 because it lags so much. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure right now. But after each use of my middle Hercule Shield (4x Haste) the max. Dmg for the Assassins Dagger gets lower than before the Hit (in this screenshot i got one more kill, so it did not really show what I mean - but if you substract one kill before multiplying, you'll see what I mean and without rage it would get even worse (-16dmg per Hit).
As you can see, the Shield Spirit gets -13 after the first Hit, while the Stopwatch only got +5. In my opinion it should be the same, as Shield Spirit only activates if a Weapon is used, if I unterstand it correct. Or is it just a bad organisation of my inventory?
tapes make each pavise use all other 4 shields, which in turn tries to use the dagger, but each shield can only use other items once per chain, (to avoid infinite loop), but the nerf from shield spirit still applies even if use failed.
since there are 3 pavise, you lose 4x3+1(initial click) = 13 damage per chain
Thanks for explanation, I'll unterstand the "loop-chain-problem" :) So is this a bug with the nerf or it is on purpose?
And if on purpose, is there a way, i can rearange my invetory to avoid this?
I still will get one more range, with the next forge, if I this lucky. But until than I've need to kill the Big Ones as fast as I can :)
Edit: atm I counter it with a Club and Belt of Knives, which increase the Dmg per Round, but I'd try to play this round with Solo-Dagger (Floor 91 atm) :)
belt of knives also work with a single weapon next to a tape, the weapon will buff the tape which will reflect the buff back to the weapon. so you don't need another weapon
Maybee I unterstand you wrong, but as you can see in the screenshot above on the right, after one hit, the dagger did not buff itself (no belt of knive) - or did I unterstand you wrong?
Atm its like this (floor 99, before Boss, cleaver just for fun I guess :p) 2nd Dagger was changed with Club before the Cleaver came in place (i know, there are not necessary, but they use belt of knive more effectivly (in my opinion) - at least atm :p

Your average quasi-infinite cleaver run
Currently on floor 181
7 energy, first hit is ~150k (Could be better if I got better luck with forges, they're so rare)
Even with the fast cleaver skip, still have to wait a ton for animation to end.

It took me a while to understand how mouse wood works. It's an insane relic, adding 200% bonus damage for each shot fired! Crazy!

Had a metric ton of lucky rings for a while so got plenty of cool stuff from them lol.
if I'm able to sell the duct tape will do so, don't need it anymore with full backpack.

How do I check what "haste" does? Or any of the keywords? Tried to check the backpack hero wiki but there's no info on anything..
You really just have to figure it out
if you still haven't figured it out, haste multiplies the amount of armor you get each turn.
(I may be wrong and instead, it calculates it differently but generally, it adds more armor than the base you are supposed to be getting)
It adds a amount of armor every time you block equal to the haste value.
Hover over the status icon to see what it does. Also, all statuses get -1 at the end of the turn.

Im getting triggered by how un-organized this is but it's a pretty decent floor one setup.

well, this is my backpack. i don't know if it's good or not but I defeated the main boss with it
pretty alright, the bombstone kind of nukes your build but yeah lol. might be better to go slime swords? or the shiv wand build?

It's most likely impossible because you don't have a shield for some reason.

Something that would give a minor improvement would be for the ruby to hit both the shiv and the spear.
But, I have a belt of Knives and it would be a waste if I separate the two.
Always died at around 350 hp for the boss
gonna give up on tryna beat it with this setup
Also, the brutal spear has a golden whetstone on it and +2 poison from the forge.

i tend to go for mana builds
I have never been able to go into endless mode is it just my luck or is it very hard
endless mode is supposed to test you if your build is good enough to beat the secret boss on floor 1000 so yeah its supposed to be hard

Man it's hard to get an inventory that is able to defends against poison when you reach the magma portion of the levels.
the only real way to get rid of poison is the wipe thing that activates when a weapon is used next to it.

I don't understand how Emerald Bracelet works. Is it to give you more actions per turn, or is it to charge manastones?
It gives you Energy, which is the number in the orange circle that dictates how many standard actions you can take in a given Turn.
Emerald bracelet gives you an extra energy/action for each curse next to it, but only for the first turn of the battle.
This right here, it's a one turn thing, so make sure you use your first turn to it's fullest lol.
