My most unique run so far - gotta spam that Ethereal Wand to jump from 5 to 10 energy. Moreover that mace got enhanced by 2 Golden Whetstone which make them weaker and spam regen for heals/rage on later turns.

final set up after deciding to giveup. this was fun for a while. it would probably reach a point around floor 500 where it would take too long to kill the king. and id run out of energy on the first turn and die, but thats about all this build dies to.
How do you stack the whetstones? Not sure which item does that since I've know every item in your inventory except for the ones on the right, which is just a random curse and im assuming cleaning ring? (for curses)

Excited about continuing this run tomorrow. At this point I'm not sure what stops me. First attack is 116k, I haven't fought anything that survives the second yet to know what it comes out to....
Also, of interest, I'm thinking a 10th hat and cleaver/tape will be better than the two extra pavises I have since they only exist to extend an additional attack to the furthest right cleaver (which has 14 rage?!).
With this many duct tapes, as long as a Queen is diagonally touching them, it's of the same value as a King right? It's simply proccing an additional cleaver attack?
Wouldn't rage outscale raw damage allowing you to replace your hats (not affecting rage) and belt of knives by more energy and more hercule pavise/duct tape ?
To be honest I don't fully understand interaction between cleavers and spirit shield. When you say the 2 pavises extend an additional attack to the one cleaver, does it trigger all the cleavers the second time ?
An additional attack from the shields would add another series of attacks. But it's going to cost 2 slots to get there, and with every enemy needing to die turn 1, I don't think it makes sense. Definitely on the verge of the complete build, but what that final build is I don't know 🤣
So I tested the thing. I completely underestimated belt of knives + duct tape power so yes outscaling it with rage would mean 30+ rage upgrade on one cleaver ! Clearly not an option before floor 400 I think..
Also I don't see additional shields proc multiple series of attacks so I guess you were right about removing the 2 extra pavises :D
I guess I misspoke. Additional shields will proc 1 additional round of attacks per shield adjacent to weapon, but will no restart the series of attacks.
Put all shields and all cleaver on ducktape and replace hats slowly with more ducktape and cleaver. Every single extra cleaver and shield in the mix multiplies the amount of attacks per energy and the amount of belt of knife activations. -7 damage is on all your weapons can be ignored if you get 150 belt of knife activations.
And this is just turn one, every extra turn the damage stacks further up. My 2nd hit does triple the damage of my first just for comparisson and my first one is already 150k+.
Replacing a shield with a cleaver increased the damage for my by around 30k damage, replacing the hat for a cleaver around 20k. But I settled for 3 shields for 7 activations to stack my haste, but for maximum damage the best setup I think would be all cleaver, all ducktape, one shield. (Tho attacking once can take minutes on max animation speed that way.. :P)
Finally got an ethereal+bomb relic build. the summoned blade did 144 damage for 2 energy, I was hoping for the arrow wand but I had to settle for this which still did very good damage.
I've run it in browser on my phone, the controls take a tiny bit getting used to (rotating items is hold+tap with 2nd finger, I can't remember if you can hold an individual item and rotate), but whenever I'd opened my map or backpack they were off by a bit, this was several updates ago though.
Bug: Duct tape and arrows have wierd empty space issues. Here, the first crooked arrow says it has 7 empty spaces and the second crooked arrow reports 6. The top arrow reports 2 open spaces. It seems to me that the vampiric crystal and the pearl are being counted as empty spaces because their effect is being given to the affected arrows through duct tape.
welp, this is the end of my run... I've tried to keep the hour glass but the main issue with that one is that the 200%bonus isn't worth the permanent -1: it's an awful trap. In this specific run, I haven't seen a single berserker's ring nor I've seen short arrows. But hey, I finally clapped the giga boss with 18k hp in a single turn.
It's a pity that the animation speed doesn't work on manastones, this could take half the time if manastones were instant use instead of taking half a second each activation.
Going to come back tyomorrow to see if I can push it to 100
Yes. I accidently stumbled into the gold bow/keg build one time. I died to a mis-click, and didn't know about the quit/resume function to try the floor again.
IMO, enemies becoming HP sponges in endless runs is not fun at all. It invalidates a lot of builds and items except the highest damaging ones (Cleavers, Assassin's Dagger, spikes stacking) and for others that still work it takes way too long to finish a single encounter.
My suggestion is to add items or weapons that let you deal percentage-based HP damage, maybe a gem like Whetstone that upon use makes your weapons deal 1% HP damage to enemies. That would help with the infinite scaling
sorry if I'm just pointing out the obvious but recently I managed to get 2 copies of hercule pavise and found out it interacts well with itself (3 triggers from 2 shields) and can give insane block (2 hercule, 2 slat shields and li'l buckler were giving ~60 block per use of one pavise)
it let me breeze through floors 5-8 with just a wizards staff and take no damage but I died to the fire final boss
so yeah, any ideas on how to use this for an insanely lucky infinite run or somethin?
this is how the build ended up. it is without doubt the strongest build in the game. 9 energy per turn is 72 attacks each turn. i havent come close to dying at any point, i think the last time i took damage was 172 dam from a curse on the spin wheel. luck rings were for trying to get more gold whetstones. only issue is that it gets boring all i do is click shield. weapon gains 7 rage each use, and one energy gives 56 rage.

The pickaxe strat actually works with a bit of creative thinking, honestly wouldn't last endless mode though

The golden whetstone is a onetime use that increase the weapon by 25% permanently.
Right side is an energy setup with curses. Every amulet gives 1 energy per curse next to them for the start of the combat.

You also get that after each death as well on retry.
luck increases your chances of getting a higher rarity of items so if you get enough legends could become pretty common.

I've run it in browser on my phone, the controls take a tiny bit getting used to (rotating items is hold+tap with 2nd finger, I can't remember if you can hold an individual item and rotate), but whenever I'd opened my map or backpack they were off by a bit, this was several updates ago though.
It runs great on my phone. For sure is easier on the pc but while im bored at work i usually play sitting in my office.

You can pick to start with Matthew. It'll skip the first enemy for you and give you a nice starting boost.

I mean... this is a super early version of the game. I'm pretty sure Endless mode isn't the ideal.
Of course it's all subject to change, but player feedback helps the devs improve the final product.
